Lina Bonapace

Lina has 30+ years of international consulting experience in the area of systems and design thinking, innovation, and strategic development. 

Lina was the founder of ErgoSolutions, a research and design consulting firm in Italy and later held the position of Director of UX research in an international tech company in North America.

Throughout her career she served many prestigious clients such as Ferrari, and Alfa Romeo in automotive, Whirlpool and Philips, FileMaker an affiliate of Apple, Siemens, Heineken, Case and LeGrand to name a few.

She’s conducted numerous workshops, missions for various professional associations and non-profit organizations in Europe, Africa, Middle East, South and North America. Lina was a member of the Executive Committee of the International Ergonomics Association (IEA) as Chair of the Ergonomics Quality in Design Initiative. 

Lina was professor at the prestigious Politecnico di Milano’s Faculty of Design for several years and at Carleton University’s School of Design in Ottawa. She also taught masterclasses at various design schools across Europe and both South and North America.

As a speaker, Lina has participated in over 50 conferences, congresses, seminars and meets about innovative design approaches and practices.

A changemaker at heart Lina helps others envision bigger and better possible futures for all.  Her approach centered on the creative processes enables innovation and problem solving.

Lina’s greatest asset is connecting dots and transforming these into strategic road maps for action. A strong team player and an optimist by nature, Lina is a creative and future thinker. Her role in rEnergize is in strategic planning, defining procedures and policies, overseeing operations and innovation.

Lina is a passionate art collector and loves trekking and skiing – especially in the Italian Dolomites.

Education and certifications

Lina attended the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan and a Master program in Human-Centred Design at the Politecnico di Milano.

She also studied Interior Design in the 1980s with a special interest in creating living spaces for optimal user experiences.

Lina is a certified European Ergonomist (Eur.Erg)
